What Is The Treatment For Pus-filled, Hard Sore On Arm?

I have a sore on my arm. Started out a week ago looking like poison ivy bump. It was Tiny and white. It started to get a bit bigger and stayed white and hard. but now is little larger but hard, sore. A hot compress seems to help but it is not going away.

Hello dear,
Welcome to healthcaremagic.
I have read your query and understood your concern.

If I was your treat doctor, I would have advised you to apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin 2 percent cream twice daily over the lesion.
You may need to start oral antibiotics also like 3 rd generation cephalosporins / macrolides depending on the severity of the lesion.

Keep the area clean and dry.

If you have any further query you may ask me.
Take care.
