What Is The Treatment For Sensitive Ankle After Hit By A Soft Ball?

I got hit with a softball in the inner part of my ankle. I have been elevating and icing for the past 2 days. Now that the swelling has gone down, apart of my ankle just above the bone is EXTREMELY sensitive to any touch. Should I go in and have it looked at?

Hello,

As this is a superficial injury, you will have some sensitivity for now.

Kindly continue slow icing and stabilize the ankle in ankle brace or crepe bandage. Wait for a week or so and I think this symptom will also subside.

As of now, it doesn't look to be a major thing to worry about.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
