Every time I cough my lungs hurt severely! Also, my abdomen is so tender I cry every time I cough!

Hi.

You are pregnant which is the main restriction, although you are not far from delivery. The main issue here is the grown uterus applying pressure on your chest cavity resulting in further pain and discomfort. This will get better as soon as you deliver.

As for the antibiotics used, they may not be that strong or effective as your doctor would have deliberately prescribed mild ones as you are pregnant. Please try to understand and manage just for a few more days. I am sure your doctor is doing whatever is in your babys and your best interest.

Best wishes.
