I have a sever pain in my lower back, which is continuesly goes to my left leg, even I am not able to bend my back normally and feeling pain. Hence, requesting you to guide me, which doctor will be suitable to examine the same. I live in Vasundhara Ghaziabad. Shall I go to a Ortho specialist or Nerves specialist.
Common causes of low back pain are- Poor postural habits Muscular strain Ligaments sprain Herniated disc Spinal stenosis Osteoporosis Fibromyalgia
As you have radicular pain in left leg and unable to bend forward it could be due to prolapsed intervertebral disc.I need to examine you and correlate with an MRI to reach final diagnosis.I advise muscle relaxants like cyclobenzaprine, NSAIDs like aceclofenac or tramadol and neurotropic drugs like gabapentin .If no improvement after this then, as a pain physician we have number of day care procedures like nucleoplasty, ozone therapy, epidural steroid injection to cure you of this problem within few hours. Consult a pain physician for further advice
