I have nausea all day. I had my gallbladder removed 1year ago and I'm worse now. I had an endoscope also done 2 weeks ago. I have to get better.I have nausea all day! I had my gallbladder removed 1 year ago and now I'm worse. I also had an Endoscopy done and it showed I had Gerd. I'm on meds but no better. Now what. I'm a very active person but it has really put a toll on me. Please help.
Gall bladder removal means there is continuous flow of bile from bile ducts to the duodenum as there is no storage and concentration of bile.
Since you have been diagnosed as GERD, it is possible that there is reflux of bile into stomach and hence into esophagus are causing you the symptoms and this is called bile gastritis and esophagitis.
Hence, I would advise you he following: -Small frequent feeds of soft bland diet. -Continue a PPI like Omeprazole. -Domperidone drug to improvising the motility irregularity. -Further investigations like ultrasonography of abdomen. -Tests of blood particularly for liver and kidney functions.
This will help to regularize further management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T Chandrakant
