Hi, i am 15 year old male, i think i have a sleeping disorder, i feel really bad if i dont take naps in the after noon, and i canu wake up after, i take around 5 30 hour naps, then i cant sleep until 3 30 or 4 am. This is really messing everything up. Please help
You have reversed your sleep cycle; Night is meant for sleep purpose; a normal Healthy person should sleep for 6 to 8 or 9 hours in 24 hours on an average If you sleep 5.30 hours sleep In afternoon you are bound to gate very late sleep in night Please make all attempts not to sleep in day time for that you keep yourself busy during this period or remain out of bed or house to achieve it .That is what I tell my patients and they succeed Do not yield to sleep in day time ;it will be hard for few days on you but gradually you will gain your night sleep
