What Is The Treatment For Stage 0 DCIS?

I have had a bruised looking breast, with some pinkness for about 3 mos. Just diagnosed with DCIS, Stage 0. No doctor I've seen can tell me why the lower half of my breast is bruised, and if it is more serious than simply the DCIS. No swelling, no intense heat, no inverted nipple...no one in my area can be of help, but they are concerned that it is Inflammatory Breast Disease. Thank you for your help. (I'm 64)

hi,
I would need a bit more of detail before i can commit anything.

1. is the biospy done?
2. what radiological imaging done . Probably in your case i would order a breast MRI to know the cause of bruise.
3. Do you have family history of breast cancer? or any other cancer ? It is required to know for risk stratification

It will be a best if you can be examined by breast cancer specialist to rule out inflammatory breast cancer.

NOt sure if this site allow direct question presentation from you to me but you can revert to me with some more details
