What Is The Treatment For Swelling In The Jaw?

The last couple of days when eating.. On my right jaw swells up and after several hours the swelling will go away. Is sore to touch. Have had no trauma to ear or jaw.. This happened 6 months ago and not again until this week. Swelling starts out small and then grows. It is not that painful but is irratating.

thanks for the query, i have gone through your question, the swelling could be because of a stone in the salivary gland duct that is why you might be getting swelling. you might have to take some radiographs like mandibular occlusal and puffed cheek PA view. consult a oral physician to rule out the stone or any pathology....i hope my answer will help you..
