What Is The Treatment For Tenderness?

I slipped on a leaf fell forward and hit my head heavily on a tree. I dont think I was concussed. this was five days ago and although there isnt a lump the area is still extremely painful. I heard the crunch on contact and jarred my neck on impact. I did have a headache but that has now gone.Should this injury be improving by now and what can I do to help with the tenderness. Thanks.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Sometimes, such injury may take 2-4 weeks time to improve completely. You can take pain killers with muscle relaxants for 1 week.
