What Is The Treatment For The Sunburns In A 4 Month Old?

My son is 4 months old. We took him to a baseball game in the heat (90+ degrees) today. He was overwhelmed, and hot, and started crying. I took him inside the air conditioning and he continued to cry (hysterically) for 20 or so minutes, his legs turned bright red. About an hour after he calmed down I noticed that there were red and purplish flat spots on the front of his legs from the knee down. Are these spots the result of the crying and/or heat?

Hi
Welcome to the HCM

I understand your concerns but don't worry. Most likely cause of these symptoms are heat rashes. You may apply silverex ointment on the lesions twice daily for early relief. Hopefully it will be fine with in 2-3 days.

Take care
