What Is The Treatment For Throat Pain And Acidity?

my husband is 48 yrs. for past one and a half month he is experiencing throat pain. He has consulted a dentist and ent. cleaning of teeth has been done. the ent has told him that he has a problem of acidity for which he was treated for a week. now the ent tells that his throat inside has some inflamation and showing some redness. can u pls advise.

Hello,

  Primary guidelines 
- Gargles with salted lukewarm water added peppermint oil three times a day.
- Continue current medicines as per the prescription of your doctor.
- Add PPI if not there in the drug basket.
