Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...My best friend is 68 & has Type 2 Diabetes. He has had indication that he needs to stop Metphormine (?) for kidney function. He takes Levimire (?) morning & evening and a fast acting insuline 4 times daily. Sugar levels are not receding. I believe he is becoming Insulin-resistant (because of his diet...he eats potato chips, dip, lots of cheese and he loves red meet). Is there some advice that I can give him to encourage a healthy diet? He does not have a very active life! I appreciate your direction. Thanks
