What Is The Treatment For Urinary Tract Infection?

I may have gotten a UTI Sunday ( new guy, too much sex). I did not feel very well Sunday and had to urinate more than normal. Monday had some upper bladder pain at end of urination, feeling of frequency. Today I am at work and not feeling well... Constant feeling of urination without anything coming out, nauseous, and right side feel cramping w pain laterally and posterior to back. A little blood in urine Monday, none today. I didn t home UTI dip check and had trace leukocytes.

Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Your symptoms are indicative for urinary tract infection (UTI) which is confirmed by little blood in urine and traces of leukocytes in home UTI dip check.

I advise to consult with your physician and get an urine analysis as you need to start oral antibiotics.

Urine alkalinizers like magnesium citrate and cranberry are also advised.

Please increase water intake to replace the lost fluids through frequent urination.

Wish fast recovery!
