What Is The Treatment For Urinary Tract Infection?

Having trouble getting my catheter to go in. Had plenty of lubrication on it and even tried a brand new one but it still was painful trying to insert it, and even when I finally got it to the normal point where the urine starts to flow, nothing would come out and it was very painful pulling it out. Could this be a urinary tract infection possibly?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have urinary tract infection. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination. If needed go for culture and sensitivity test. Then you should take antibiotics accordingly. Levofloxacin or norfloxacin can be helpful. It is prescription based drug so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
