hello. my father is 65 years old and he had TURP and HOLEP don 27 days back. he waa fine after that at first then he developed fever. there were numerous pus cells in urine and TLC was 28800/mm3. then we started antibiotic injection sulzone 2 grams I/V BD for 6 days.after 6 doses tests were done in which TLC was 13600/mm3 and pus cells were 60-70/hpf. after completing 6 days of antibiotic he took drug free period of 72 hours. after which tests were repeated and pus cells were 100 and TLC is 17900/mm3 2 days back. urine culture was done before starting injection sulzone in which E. coli. new culture is awaited. he still have low grade fever and too many lus cells and high TLC count. what should i do?
