What Is The Treatment For Urinary Tract Infection?
Since 2009 I have experienced many urinary tract infections. My doctor usually treats this with Levofloxacin 250 mg (3 tabs). 3 tabs stops the symptoms but does not (in my opinion) completely kill the infection. In the past, at another location and doctor, I ve always been given about 2 wks of a sulfa drug antibiotic that results in mynot having so many recurring UTI s. What is the best antibiotic treatment (in your opinion) for a person prone to have many UTI s going on? I am 79 years old.
