What Is The Treatment For Viral Fever And Cough With Wheezing In A 11 Month Old?

Hello Doc, my child is 11 months old. One week back he suffered from high fever. I took him to doctor and he declared viral fever prescribing paracitamol dose until fever lasts. After two days fever went away but after that kid started coughing and after two days his cough turned to wheezing sound. I am very upset seeing his condition. Please advice. Reg Satyendra.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Your history suggests either it may be bronchiolitis or asthma.
Asthma is usually triggered by viral infection.
Better consult pediatrician and give bronchodilators.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
