What Is The Treatment If A CT Scan Report Shows Fluid Around The Gallbladder In An 81-year-old?
My mom is in the hospital with pain on right side. Doctors did ct scan showing fluid around gall bladder. Another doctor said she twisted a muscle. She is 82 years old and has been on Percocet to control pain which seems to be helping pain. Doctors don t seem to concerned about gallbladder. They are treating pain as a muscle pull in the back. I am confused.

Fluid around gall bladder may have to do with a gall bladder infection. I suggest you to monitor the temperature and do some blood tests to see if there is an infection and if there is a need for antibioticotherapy.
