Hi, I am feeling kind of sick today. I have had chills, diaherra, loss of appetite...to the point where I feel sick if I eat and feel like I may throw up. I also feel dizzy when I stand up too fast but I would not say I'm particularly fatigued. My boyfriend had something similar to this afew days ago, although I didn't see him until he felt "better" but he also had a headache, fever, and vomiting. I am wondering if this is just symptoms of a kind of bug that will pass in the next couple of days because on the weekend I am supposed to be going out of town, and I work Friday morning.

Your symptoms are suggestive of an infection, probably the same as your boyfriend. The fact that he had similar symptoms some days before, is indicative of an infectious agent. For this reason, I would recommend having some rest and taking plenty of water and a balanced diet. Oral rehydration electrolytes are necessary too. If this situation persists, I recommend consulting with your GP for a physical exam, a stool analysis and a complete blood count.
