What Is The Treatment Of Feeling Lightness In Head With No Pain ?
Hi Doc, My husband (43 years) fell to ground and lost consciousness for 20-30 seconds. Later MRI scan indicated Secondary Canal Stenosis at C4 C5. there is a bulge in C4-C5. He feels lightness in the head some times. But, no pain. What is causing this, and what could be the possible treatment?

The loss of conscience is not a common symptom of secondary canal stenosis in the cervical level. It may lead to gait difficulty or dizziness, but rarely fainting and loss of conscience. Anyway, I would recommend discussing with a spinal surgeon on the possible surgery for the spinal canal stenosis in this region. I would also recommend performing an EEG to investigate for seizures and an ECG Holter monitoring to investigate for a cardiac arrhythmia as possible causes that may lead to loss of conscience. You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues. Best regards!
