What Is The Treatment Suggested For Multiple-cervical Disc Prolapse In An Asthmatic Patient?

Hi I want to ask abt my cousin who is 41 year old he is asthamatic from last 20year and diagonised 1month back as case of multiplecervical disc prolapse inspite of conservative treatment hez in pain.plz guid me regarding his treatment.his radiology report iz as follow...c3, c4 show diffuse disc bulging larger in right paramedian aspect causing fulness of right foramina with no exiting nerve compression with disc causing mild dural sac and spinalcord indentation.with no signal changes....c4, c5 show diffus disc bulging causing mild dural sac and spinalcord indentation.with no cord signal changes...c5, c6 show diffuse disc bulging causing minimal dural sac indentation with left foramina entry fulness with no nerve compresion...c6 c7 show difuse disc bulging larger in right paramedian aspect causing fulness of right foramina with disc in close contact with exiting nerve in both side more severe in right side.

Thanks for your query.

I understand you have neck pain . These symptoms are part of cervical disc degeneration with PIVD where the nerves get compressed by the protruded disc.
There are several treatment modalities with medicines, physiotherapy and with injections in the back called epidural injections and root/facet blocks.
If you don’t get better with these treatment ,I suggest you undergo surgery, by which the nerves are decompressed by removing the protruded disc (discectomy), which would significantly improve your symptoms
