Height depends upon genetic and
hormonal factors. As per Center for Disease Control (CDC) your height comes under 8.2 percentile which is "Normal Stature". So first of all you need not to worry. You are 17 yrs old and your bones are yet to ossify. You can perform following activities which will help you to increase height by 3-4 inches(appx.):
1. Perform stretch & hanging exercises on daily basis.
2. Do swimming
3. Take balanced diet (including green leafy vegetables, pulses, almonds, milk and milk products)
4. Take meal at correct time.
5. NO pills( most of them have
steroid which causes harm more)
6. Take adequate sleep (keep light off because hormones best release in complete darkness)
