What Is The Use Of Calcium Gluconate In Pregnancy?

hello doctor i am in 5th month pregnancy, doctor has given me optineuron, iron and folic acid with vit b12 capsules and calcium gluconate what is the use of it. Before it, till date i was given iron and folic acid with vit b12 capsules, dophaston, esprin 75 mg, calcium. Before this i had three miscarriage. Whether change of medicine is right, please advise

I have gone through your query.Calcium is needed more in fast growing stages of pregnancy.As you are in 5th month yours will be fast growing phase next so doctor has prescribed you calcium gluconate.Optineurin is B complex tablets.These are usually given for most pregnant ladies.Have a regular follow up with your doctor including ultrasound examinations and regular BP monitoring.Wishing you a complete pregnancy and a healthy child.
