What Is The Use Of Cyclobenzaprine?

Hi. I found a vial of ills that I am NOT sure what it is for. It's shows it's name to be cyclobenzaprine 10 m and states to take it 1 q 8 hours PO as needed When I looked up this same drug, it said it was for stress, and for nausea??
Could you tell what else it could be for? Is it strong?

Hi. Welcome to HCM. Cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant. Specifically, cyclobenzaprine relieves muscle spasm when the spasm is due to local problems, that is, in the muscle itself and not in the nerves controlling the muscles.It is used with rest and physical therapy for short-term relief of muscle spasms associated with acute painful muscle and skeletal conditions. It is only for short-term use, up to one or two weeks. Please dont take any medications with out doctors advice. If u have any painful muscle condition then consult a doctor and than take, because this drug will interact with other medications if u are taking any. Wish u good health.
