What Is The Use Of Duphaston When Trying To Conceive?

Iam 28 years old. We are planning for our send baby. As prescribed by the doctor I took clomid for the first time and had sex on the important days. Yestarday (my 15th day) the doctor told that the ovulation is complete, and ask me to take duphaston for the next 10 days staring from 2 day . What is the use of duphaston in my case. Or else will i get pregnant or periods? Pls Kindly advice.
