Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Susten (progesteronehormonal) injections are given to support pregnancy. If progesterone decreases endometrial lining will shed. So it is given to sustain it and making an environment for conception. Progesterone is given for long term for long term to support pregnancy and avoid first trimester bleeding. It depends upon the condition of your pregnancy. It will be decided after ultrasound examination. Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further queries.
