What Is The Yellowish Discharge Coming From Vagina With Pain While Urinating?

Hi, I'm 5'8'', 230lbs., and 24 years old. I've had this yellowish discharge coming from my vagina for a little over a week now. Sometimes itches and burns when urinating. I have been eating greek yogurt, drinking water and cranberry juice. Still I have the discharge. What could this be and should I consult my doctor or a gynocologist?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Yellowish discharge if foul smelling and itching, indicates infection.
2. Yoghurt is useful for improving gut flora, not useful for vaginal infections.
3. Associated urinary tract infection could be present.
4. Meet your gynecologist and get a pap smear and an urine examination done for specific proper treatment.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
