What Is Treatment For The Mild Enlargement Of Prostrate?

I ve been having urination discomfort and urge at day and night every 3 hours. When ultra sonogram test was done, mild enlargement of prostate was shown . What medication can i take and necessary precautions? im 50 years of age ,5-9 height,190 pound weight and have no medical history

Hello,

Mild enlargement of prostate is taken care by the medical treatment in form of various molecules. One of the most common is alpha blockers to be taken once at night, dose of which is decided after physical examination and correlating the reports of the ultrasound.

Other precautions are to consume less water 2 hours prior to sleep. Keep regular check on prostate size as USG every year. In case of more profound symptoms, immediately consult a doctor.
