What Is Use Of Taking Renolog?

Sir,I am a renal CKD patient.I have high BP, uric acid in blood,albumin in urine since long.At present Blood creatinine-3.1,urea-65,K-4.5,Na-133,Hb-10.1.At present I am under treatment at Fortis kidney hospital,Kolkata.Doctor has advised to take Renolog (2 tab 3 times a day with meal).I want to know the purpose of Renolog & under my condition,whether it will be effective to reduce creatinine & urea.With regards,M.C.MAITRA

RENOLOG is a KETOANALOGUE and is given to improve kidney health and metabolic status of the patient.It delays th deterioration in patients suffering fom chronic kidney disease ( CKD ).
It will definitely reduce urea and creatine but has to be given regularly for many months.
