What Is Wrong With My Kid's Tonsils?

My 2 1/2 year old has very swollen tonsils and bright red veins on them. Her steep test was negative 1 mo. Ago, but she was treated for it anyways, thinking the nurse didn't get a good swab. This week they look the same and the strep came back negative again.what could be wrong?

Hello,
Welcome to health care magic
Only enlarged tonsils are not equivalent to tonsillitis. They should be red ,hot.In your case it could be just viral pharyngitis. As you didn't mention that she has high fever.Again get it reacessed from doctor
