Well there can be many reason for dizziness like infection of internal ear , meniere s disease , acoustic neuroma and other condition like high BP . In your case it seems to me that the infection is spreading from upper respiratory track to ear through eustachian tube . This occur when infection is severe or left untreated . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may conduct certain test like throat swab test , viral culture test , rotatory chair test and prong test . Doctor will also examine ear with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug , antibiotics ( amoxicillin ) , anti inflammatory and decongestant .
