What Lead To Forming Thick Red Ring Around The Needle Insert On My Arm?

I had blood drawn to check my hep B vaccine, I went to a local urgent care. They drew blood from the top of my hand, and it bruised which is normal for me. but the dark bruise is gone, now the site has a thick red ring around it and where the needle stick was its a white center. no swelling, no itching, just sore.

Hi,its possibly an immuno response that you might have noticed.I dont think you should be panic of it.Next time make sure the blood is drawn by a vacutainer rather than directly by syringe.Regards,Dr Mahesh.
