Hi,

Weight gain and tiredness can be caused by various factors, including:
* Poor diet: Eating a diet high in calories, sugar, and fat can lead to weight gain and fatigue. Drinking sugary beverages, such as soda, can also contribute to weight gain.
* Lack of exercise: A sedentary lifestyle can lead to weight gain and make you feel more tired. Regular exercise can help boost energy levels and maintain a healthy weight.
* Hormonal imbalances: Hormonal imbalances, such as thyroid disorders, can cause weight gain and fatigue.
* Insufficient sleep: Lack of sleep can cause fatigue and disrupt hormonal balances that can contribute to weight gain.
* Medications: Certain medications can cause weight gain and fatigue as side effects.
* Dehydration: Not drinking enough water can lead to dehydration, which can cause fatigue and contribute to weight gain.

It's important to talk to a healthcare provider to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms and develop an appropriate treatment plan. Making lifestyle changes such as improving your diet, increasing exercise, and staying hydrated can also help improve your overall health.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
