What Makes Feel Like Having Mass Lodged In Throat?

I am a smoker or was, I quit last Saturday due to this scare. In the last few weeks I feel like a blueberry has gotten lodged in my throat. I now have gone for Thyroid blood tests and Ultra sound. Results will be back this week. It really feels like something like an adams apple is sitting there. I am female and do not have an adams apple. Not sure what this could be.

I will need to see the larynx inside wth a flexible endoscopy set to assess the larynx and whether any mass or cancer is there
