What Medical Condition Causes Nosebleeds In A 70-year-old?

A few days ago 70 you old mum (who is under a lot of stress) suddenly had a nose blleed with some black (dried blood) stuff in it and then tow nights ago she wkoke because something was in her eye and it was blood from her nose. I ve never known her to have nosebleeds so and worried it could be something serious

Hello

The most common cause of nasal bleed is an increase in the blood pressure, you must check her blood pressure first, then if it is normal it may be a weakness in her nasal blood vessels.

A nosebleed can be related to many medical conditions.

Based on the information provided in the query the symptoms can be related to high blood pressure.

Anxiety and stress can be the cause of this high blood pressure.

I suggest using a saline nasal spray.

I also suggest using animals anxiety medication if needed.
