What Medical Condition Causes Pain In My Wrists, Numbness In My Fingers And Weakness In My Hands When I Wake Up In The Morning?

When I wake up in the morning I have a lot of pain in my wrists, numbness in my fingers and weakness in my hands. However as I move around and do things with my hands, the pain and numbness subsides, but the weakness in my hands does not. ? Do you have any idea as to what I might be suffering from ?

Hello,

You may be suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome or peripheral neuropathy or nerve compression.

You may have to get it done nerve conduction studies, serum b12 level, thyroid status and hemoglobin status.

Use tablet Pregabalin.

Please consult your physician/neuro physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
