What Medication Is Advisable For 6-year Old With Fever (99.3 C)?

Hello, Please help! I have given 7.5ml to my 6 yrs old son for severe stomach pain. He was very uncomfortable and could not sleep.after 15 mins , I notice fever of 99.3 c . What should I do? I have dolo drops and Motrin at home. Please advice which medicine I can give him for fever. Thanks

Hi....looks like viral illness. Paracetamol can be given in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose every 4-6th hourly that too only if fever is more than 100F. I suggest not using combination medicines for fever, especially with Paracetamol.
