What Medication Is Suggested For Diarrhea?

Hello Doctor, My son 2 Year 2 months old baby he has having since from night loose motion totally 5 times any home remedy to stop the loose motion because of excess heat elders telling. It is like white gum type loose motion in kannada they will say Amashanke please advise

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM,
White gum like loose stool represent bacterial infection especially bacillary dysentery.
Requires proper treatment by antibacterial like ofloxacin etc.
Stool culture will guide us to give the exact required antibiotic to eradicate the infection .
Take care of the hydration with ORS ,dal rice water etc in required amount.
