What Medication Is Suggested For Chest Pain, shortness Of Breath ?

I am in the ER. I m not one to go to ER. I m 38 and have had several episodes of chest pain that goes to my back up my neck and down my left arm with shortness of breath. The nurse an dr here say they think its acid reflux before any test ran. I m now waiting for test results. If they come back without any evidence of heart problem what else could it be. I didn t think acid reflux would radiate to the neck and arm

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history pain in chest and referred pain to the neck and down left arm, now in ER, getting investigated and the Nurse told about possibility of
acid reflux.
Since you have typical chest pain with reference to the neck and left are, the mot probable cause is cardiac and should be ruled out or confirmed by EKG, cardiac work up by investigations and tests of cardiac like echocardiography and all along with an opinion of a Cardiologist...
