What Medication Is Suggested For Cold And Cough?

My 19 month old is getting over a cold, and has a lingering cough. When he woke up from his nap at daycare, they said the skin surrounding his eyes was very pink, but by the time I picked him up 2 hours later, it was completely gone. Should I be worried? The cold started about a week ago...runny nose, coughing, no fever.

HI
Well come to HCM
As long as the question of cold and cough is there for the child of age of 19 months this may not need any treatment because such condition is almost self limiting unless have some pathology, the area surrounding the eye may be having no specific reason and this might be normal one, hope this helps
