What Medicine Can I Take To Unclog My Nose After Stopping Steroids?
My eyes were really ready for several weeks. I went to see my eye doctor and he said my eyes were extremely dry. He put me on a steroid. I had a reaction to it. I developed a server head ache and my noise stopped up and started running. I immediately stopped taking the steroid, but my nose will not stop running. Can you recommend something I can take to unclog my nose? I do not want something that will make my eyes really dry again.
Hi and thanks for the query, Blocked nose and running nose are not due to the drug reaction. It is possible that you have caught a cold. It will go away in a day or two. If you do not feel better in 3 days then consult your doctor. You may need an anti histamine for the running nose, decongestant drops for the blocked nose and may also neede antibiotics if you do not feel better by 6 days.
Till then do steam inhalation 3 times per day, avoid airconditioning and fan, drink plenty of water andt get lots of rest. Regards dr kishori
