Please consult your Urologist again for revaluation and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Urine routine and culture. 2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
Continue taking antibiotics prescribed by him along with pain killer like Brufen twice daily and later on switch on to appropriate antibiotic as per culture report .
Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis and site and size of the stone .
Hello and welcome to HCM I have read your query. I hope this will help Back ache with hematuria signifies a urological problem but as bleeding is not fresh it is most probably coming from level above urinary bladder. Previously you were most probably treated for UTI but I would advise you not to any those medicines again..you should visit a urologist have an ultrasound and urine RE and proceed accordingly.. Meanwhile you can use syrup CITRALKA 2 teaspoon in a glass of water 2-3 times a day and tab DICLOFENNAC sodium FOR pain control.. Regards Dr faeza
