What Of The Following Drug Amlodipine 10 Mg, Atorvastatin 10 Mg Can Cause Numbness And Tingling In Arms?

LAST November two of my perscriptions were changed, from verapamil 240 mg to amlodipine 10 mg. also Lipitor to atorvastatin 10 mg. Sine then I have had numbness and tingling in my arms and hands, also my shoulders and wrists hurt all the time, I can t sleep they hurt. which of these two drugs are causing this pain?

Thanks for writing to us

It is not related to drugs that you are taking.
You may have problem in cervical spine.
It may be due to cervical disc prolapse or spondylotic changes.
You need X-ray cervical spine in AP/Lateral view.MRI cervical spine can be done if needed.
You also need routine blood examination and serum calcium and vitamin D level.
Proper treatment depend upon clinical findings and investigation reports.
