What Precautions Are To Be Taken In Case Of Thumb Injury?

Hello my name is Andres I recently had thumb surgery and they put 2 pins in my thumb. The doctor said that they can break very easily. Right now I m in a hard cast but I m still worried that it might break. Can you tell me more about the pins. Also if a pin broke would I feel it or no. Thank you

Hello,
I can assure you that these pins are quite strong and it is not going to break in the cast. You should make sure that you do not fall ot move your hand suddenly.
If accidentally these pins get break down than your fracture start moving and you will feel pain. So it is not possible that pin get break and you do not notice it.
