What Precautions Should Be Taken For A Dialysis Patient With Severe Headache?

My roommate is a new dialysis patient...He has AIDs AIDs dementia and now total kidney failure and has started dialysis last week....Today his blood pressure is 162/90, vision is blurry and a bad headache. What should I look for if there is a major problem going on?

Hi,
Visual symptoms and Headchace do not occur at 160/90 BP in Dialysis patients ,as they tolerate higher BP very well.As he has AIDS i suggest you see infectitous disease specialist ,your friend might require CT/MRI and CSF analysis to evaluate for infections to brain.
