What Prevents Movement At The Wrist Joint?

Hello, my name is Brennan, I recently broke my hand near my thumb and had a cast on for just over two weeks. I've just recently gotten it taken off, Just yesturday to be exact. Anyways my problem is that now that its off I've been moving my hand and noticed that I can't bend my wrist all the way up or down. Why can't it bend all the way? (and it was a buckle not an official break, Sorry)

Do not worry. As it was kept in plaster so it is quite common to have this stiffness. I would suggest you to do hot water fomentation and apply Diclofenac ointment. Do not massage. I would also suggest you to show it to a physiotherapist and do some exercise. You will be fine in one to two weeks.
