What Procedure Is Done For Stomach Pain That Needs A Tube Fixation In Stomach?

my relative has severe stomach pain for the past 6 months he was admitted in a hospital at chennai the doctor says after treating him for the past one month that he has to undergo perliminary operation that involves fixing of tempreuary tube in the upper stomach after three months this tube will be removed and another permanent tube will be fixed but the problem is the patient will be having a pouch like item with hime for ever kindly guide me

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Pain in stomach for 6 months and tube in stomach for one month indicates some stricture like thing or growth like cancer needing a tune to be passed.
In absence of the detailed history it is difficult to know the exact cause.
You should have posted the reports of Endoscopy, CT scan of chest and abdomen to know the exact diagnosis and whether chemotherapy or radiotherapy is going on or not.
Well, have to follow as per the advise of the Doctors as they must have by this time well diagnosed and giving the most recent management.
