What Prognosis Is Recommended For This HIV Test Result?
Dear Doctor, Last weeks, I took HIV test and my result came out with HIV (Reactive), However, doctor said I need to test again for confirmation. Do you think I should test it again or should I just mark that I am HIV positive ? If I am HIV positive then what is your advice? Thank you.

ELISA TEST IS HIGHLY SENSITIVE TEST AND SO SOMETIMES IT CAN SHOW FALSE POSITIVE RESULT.IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE CONFIRMATION WITH WESTERN BLOT TEST,BEFOR BEING NAMED AS INFECTED.
