What Should I Do For Rashes On Inner Thighs Close To Groin?

I have a rash on my inner thighs, close to the groin. I've had it for several weeks now. At first, I thought it was perhaps a form of jock itch, and I've been regularly applying anti fungal cream to the area. While the areas have not gotten any larger, they have not shrunk either. The area is darker then my normal skin tone, and not itchy unless it is touched.

Hi,

Though fungal infections are the commonest cause of rashes in the groin and thighs, sometimes just topical application of anti-fungal creams is not enough and a course of oral anti-fungal medicines may also be needed. Sometimes, other infections and conditions like psoriasis may also cause rashes in this area. In my opinion, you should consult a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. Till then, keep the area clean and dry. Change your underwear daily and do not share towels.

Hope this helps you. Best wishes.
