What Should I Do For Rib Soreness Which Makes Me Sleepness In Night?
I currently have right side rib pain/soreness....especially on the outer edges and near my breastbone. About 4 months ago, had the same pain that was more on the back of my rib cage. Went to ER and they did CT Scan and ultrasounds everything checked out they ruled to be muscle strain. I am not athletic....but I do alot of movements to keep up with my 16 month old twins. I have been experiencing sleeping problems recently too. This condition comes and goes and it seems to be muscle strain. But, I am wondering if you have any suggestions or advise.
Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic. After going through your query in my opinion it is muscular pain due to over exertion. Rest and analgesics(diclofenac/ ibuprofen) is its treatment. Sometimes vitamin D deficiency can cause this so serum vitamin D test is advised if it is low than vitamin D supplementation will be required. Avoid long continuous standing.Sit in a straight posture.Eat milk, fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. Consulting with treating doctor is advised. I think your query answered.
